Sending your order to us by Post.

We need the following information on the order.

(1) The items you wish to purchase. Please add the item reference number to the item name if it has one, to help us make sure you get the correct items.

If you are in the UK or the EU, please use the Pounds prices for all items.

If you are outside the UK/EU, please use the US Dollar pricing.

(2) Your full name and address. This needs to be the name and address that your credit card is registered to, i.e. the address they send your statements to.

(3) Methods of payment.

We accept a number of different methods of payment, which MUST be included with your order.

Debit/Credit card

UK cheque - please remember that it takes the bank 5 working days to clear your cheque.

UK Postal Orders

Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to New Moon.

Cash - we can accept payment in pounds or US dollars only. Please use a suitable safe method of postage if you send us cash with your order.

Please note that we do NOT accept cheques or money orders from any country other than the UK, due to the excessive time taken by the banking system to process them. If you wish to order from abroad and do not have a credit card we recommend sending a cash payment.

(4) If you wish to pay by credit/debit card, we need the following information :

The credit card number - this is the long number written across the middle of the card.

The credit card expiry date

The credit card Valid From date

(Please use the numerical format for these dates as on the card. e.g. 06/07)

The credit card issue number - not all cards have this, usually only debit cards. This is normallt found on the lower left part of the front of the card.

The card security code. You will find this on the back of the card, usually on the signiature strip. It is normall in one of three formats - the card number from the front of the card, followed by 3 extra digits, the last 4 numbers of the card number followed by 3 extra digits, or just 3 digits. The security code are these 3 digits (or 3 extra digits).

(5) Please choose the postage option you want, based on your country.

The following choices are available :

Ordering from the U.K.

Recorded delivery. This costs £2, and includes insurance up to £30 (please note that certain delicate items, such as glass, are not covered for insurance with this postage option).

Special delivery. This costs £7, and includes full insurance. It is also faster, as this will be delivered the next working day after we post it.

Courier. This costs £10, and includes full insurance. It is available throughout mainland UK. Courier shipments are delivered the next working day after collection from us. If you live in Northern Ireland or the Isles we will substitute the equivalent fully insured parcel force, as unfortunately courier delivery to these locations is extremely expensive.

Ordering from the EU

Normal post. This will usually be delivery by airmail, however certain heavy items maye be shipped by surface post due to the high cost of airmail. Please see the next section for the postal charges. This type of postage does not provide insurance.

The postal charge is 10% of the value of the items ordered, with a MINIMUM charge of £3 - this means that if your order comes to less that £30, the postal charge will still be £3

Insured post. This cost an additional £3 in addition to the postal charges listed above.

Ordering from outside the UK/EU.

Ordering from USA/Canada/Europe outside the EU - The postal charge is 10% of the value of the items ordered, with a minimum charge of $5 - this means that if your order comes to less that $50, the postal charge will still be $5 - plus the insurance charge if this option is selected. This type of postage does not provide insurance. Shipments will be sent by airmail.

Ordering from any other country - The postal charge is 15% of the value of the items ordered, with a minimum charge of $7 - this means that if your order comes to less that $70, the postal charge will still be $7 - plus the insurance charge if this option is selected.This type of postage does not provide insurance. Shipments will be sent by airmail.

Insurance is available as an option for orders outside of the UK/EU. This costs an additional $7 in addition to the postal charges listed above.

Please note that uninsured orders are sent at your own risk.

(6) You may if you wish calculate the shipping charges and put them in your letter - if you don't, we will calculate them for you.

(7) If you wish a confirmation of your order, we will need a valid e-mail address. We are afraid that we cannot acknowldge orders by phone.
